Live painting on 19 Aug 2022 during the ‘A night with the King’ worship event at the Bloemfontein Stadion

The week before the event, I didn’t have time to do some prep work for the painting in order to save time during the event paint session. I did however take time to ask the Lord what He would have me paint during this worship event.

His answer:

"Key of David".. I looked up information about Key of David..

2 scriptures about Key of David:

Rev 3:7 "And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one shall shut, Who shuts and no one shall open" en Isaiah 22:22.  "And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open".

Furthermore, I looked up the scripture about David playing the 10 string harp when Saul was oppressed and distressed by spirits:

1 Samuel 16:22-23.  " Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David remain in my service, for he pleases me. And when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, David took a lyre and played it; so Saul was refreshed and became well, and the evil spirit left him”.

When David released the sound through the 10-string harp, the spirits of distress and oppression fled from Saul.

Our country is under spirits of distress and oppression because of ancestral worship and sacrifices to false gods...

Yeshua releases sound through the "Africa 10 string harp". The sound He releases over our country will cause the spirits of distress and oppression to flee... While He releases the sound, Lion of Judah roars over our country... (the 10 strings reminded me of this scripture: Gen 18:32 "And he said, Oh, let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again only this once. Suppose ten [righteous people] shall be found there. And [the Lord] said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.")
